I love You, O my God,
and my only desire is to love You
until the last breath of my life.

I love You, O my infinitely lovable God,
and I would rather die loving You,
than live without loving You.

I love You, Lord
and the only grace I ask is to love You eternally.

My God, if my tongue cannot say in every moment that I love You,
I want my heart to repeat it to You as often as I draw breath.

Lord, I ask your blessing and your favor in
a special way on all those I hold dear who have
left this life.

I know that the heart which believes is the
heart that grieves sweetly, since in your love
we are all close to one another, never far apart,
and that raised up by You we shall never see
corruption again, never taste death any more.

Lord, through your death and resurrection bless
all my loved ones departed. I commend them
to you, and ask you to bless them with the gift
of eternal life.

May they pass through the sleep of death to be
awakened by the sound of your voice calling
them into your kingdom of glory.

May you open to them the gates of paradise,
and welcome them into their heavenly home,
that they may share in the inheritance of your
saints.

May we all meet again in your love.

Give me the grace to annihilate my will
before the Will of Your Divine Son
so that the Will of Your Divine Son be mine.
Kindle my heart with Divine Love!
See to it that the purest flame of God's Love
penetrate deeply in my spirit
and rout out my selfishness.
Give me a tender devotion to the Blessed Sacrament
and Your holy Love in order that
I love You as You deserve.
Help me detach perfectly from everything,
creatures, and myself,
renouncing myself and everything to live only in God.

Glorious Saint Alphonsus,
loving Father of the poor and sick,
all your life you devoted yourself with a charity
really heroic to lightening their spiritual and bodily miseries.
Full of confidence in your tender pity for the sick,
since you yourself have patiently borne the cross of illness,
I come to you for help in my present need.

Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom,
my memory, my understanding,
and my will.
All that I have and cherish, You have given me.
I surrender it all to be guided by Your Will.
Your grace and Your love are enough for me.
Give me these, Lord Jesus,
and I ask for nothing more.

Amen.

O God, who made the Bishop Saint Peter Chrysologus
an outstanding preacher of Your Incarnate Word,
grant, through his intercession,
that we may constantly ponder in our hearts
the mysteries of Your salvation and faithfully
express them in what we do.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You in the unity
of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

O blessed St. Martha, your faith
led Jesus to proclaim, "I am
the resurrection and the life";
and faith let you see beyond his humanity
when you cried out, "Lord I believe
that you are the Messiah, the Son of God."
With firm hope you said, I know that God
will give you whatever you ask of him,
and Jesus called your brother Lazarus
back from the dead.
With pure love for Jesus
you welcomed him into your home.
Friend and servant of our Savior,
I too am "troubled about many things."
Pray for me that I may grow in faith,
hope and love, and that Jesus,
who sat at your table,
will hear me and grant me a place
at the banquet of eternal life.

Amen.

Across time and tide, my Lord,
You have shown faithfulness and goodness.
You smiled at me each day in and out.
I thank You, my Lord, with all my heart,
For Your smile brought joy and peace to my
Longings and yearnings in life.
For Your smile bought healing and comfort to
my pains and wounds through life.

To you do we turn, Our Heavenly Mother
of sweetest love and tender compassion,
in this and every graceful moment
that passes under your protection and care.
Pray for us your beloved children,
that the light of your Son Jesus
which so purely flows through your
Immaculate Heart will illuminate our lives
and vanquish all darkness in our midst.
Oh Spouse of The Most High,
pray the Father to have mercy upon our land
that we might not receive what we deserve
but rather what we need.
Merciful Mother by the aid of your most
holy angels direct our ways into your shelter;
into your health; safe within your loving bosom;
into a renewed and united revelation
of God’s infinite and everlasting love
through Jesus Christ.

Amen.

O Mother of Perpetual Help,
grant that I may ever invoke your
most powerful name, which is the safeguard
of the living and the salvation of the dying.

O Purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary,
let your name be forever on my lips.
Delay not, O Blessed Lady,
to help me whenever I call on you,
for, in all my needs, in all my temptations
I shall never cease to call on you,
ever repeating your sacred name,
Mary, Mary, Mary.

O glorious Apostle, Saint James, who
by reason of your fervent and generous heart
was chosen by Jesus to be witness
of His glory on Mount Tabor, and of His agony
in Gethsemane; you, whose very name
is a symbol of warfare and victory:
obtain for us strength and consolation
in the unending warfare of this life,
that, having constantly and generously followed Jesus,
we may be victors in the strife and deserve
to receive the victor's crown in heaven.

Amen.

I wish to believe in You.
Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved,
and let it penetrate my thought, my way
of judging Divine things and human things.
Lord, let my faith be joyful and give peace
and gladness to my spirit, and dispose it
for prayer with God and conversation with men,
so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession
may shine forth in sacred and secular conversation.
Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume
to be based on the experience of my thought and of my feeling;
but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit,
and not have any better guarantee than in docility
to tradition and to the authority of the Holy Church.

Amen.

0 Jesus! Creator of Heaven and earth
whom nothing can encompass or limit,
who enfolded and held all under Your loving power,
remember the very bitter pain You suffered
when the Jews nailed Your Sacred Hands and Feet
to the Cross by blow after blow with big blunt nails,
and not finding You in a pitiable enough state
to satisfy their rage, they enlarged Your wounds,
and added pain to pain, and with indescribable cruelty
stretched Your Body on the Cross, pulled You from all sides,
dislocating Your Limbs.

I beg of You, 0 Jesus, by the memory of this
most Loving suffering of the Cross, to grant me
the grace to fear You and to Love You.

Amen.

O blessed Mary Magdalen, mold of penitents,
obtain for me the grace of perseverance
in the practices of self-denial according
to the spirit of my vows:

Pray to God for me that I may appear
before Jesus, Our Lord and Master,
at the moment of my death,
with my lamp filled with the oil of faith and hope,
and burning with the pure flame of charity,
and thus merit to be received with You
into His eternal kingdom.

Amen.

Almighty God,
for the glory of Your Name
and the salvation of souls,
You conferred upon St. Lawrence,
the spirits of counsel and fortitude.
Grant us, in the same Spirit,
to know what we are to do,
and through his prayers,
to do what we have come to know.
We ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Amen.
