O Jesus, only Son of God, only Son of Mary,
I offer You the most loving Heart of Your divine Mother
which is more precious and pleasing to You than all hearts.

O Mary, Mother of Jesus,
I offer you the most adorable Heart of your well-beloved Son,
who is the life and love and joy of your Heart.

Blessed be the Most Loving Heart
and Sweet Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ
and the most glorious
Virgin Mary, His Mother,
in eternity and forever.

Amen.

Holy Mother, give me a simple, merry, sweet,
gentle, kind, benign, compassionate,
humble and meek heart.
Beg for me a profound contrition
and intimate sorrow to make my heart bleed
for my offenses against Your Divine Son.
Grant me a spirit of holy prayer,
the grace of meditating upon the sublime truths of faith,
especially the Passion of Jesus and Your sorrows.
Give me the grace of praying in the occasions of sin.

O God, from whom all power comes,
by whose Divine will all must abide,
we thank You for our civil liberties and freedom,
for our opportunities and our privileges.
We beg of You to bless, assist,
and enlighten our Senators and Representatives.
May they prove worthy of the confidence placed in them
by their fellow citizens.
May they be just and upright in their thinking,
honest and forthright in all their actions,
and ever be guided by a true conscience.
Forgive us all our mistakes and selfish tendencies,
and help prepare us by our good deeds
for an eternal union with You,
through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

My tender Mother,
give me the virtue of fortitude to prevail over myself
through internal and external shame.
O valiant Lady,
you have conquered hell.
Give me strength to triumph over the devil,
the world, and the flesh.
You are our life and hope,
please grant me holy,
final perseverance in the grace of Your Divine Son.
See to it that I live and die saintly,
and love You in Paradise forever.

O Immaculate Virgin, mother of God and mother of humanity,
we believe with all the fervor of our faith in your triumphal assumption
both in body and in soul into heaven where you are acclaimed as queen
by all the choirs of angels and all the legions of saints;
we unite with them to praise and bless the Lord
who has exalted you above all other pure creatures
and to offer you the tribute of our devotion and our love.

We ask You, O Lord,
through the intercession of St. Maximillian,
look down upon Your people
that they may be strengthened into piety,
obtain the remission of their sins,
be delivered from the devil and his deceits,
be filled with the Holy Spirit,
and obtain life everlasting.

Amen.

Dear Jesus, at times I need to rest in the atmosphere
of your loving kindness.
The daily duties and tasks, though quite worthy.
can be stifling and draining.
Your breath, your spirit revives and brings joy.

Amen

Lord, send the new light
of your dawn into my inner self.

Make shadows fade, pull back the blind,
let dazzling light cascade
into every corner of my mind.

Lord, send the new warmth
of your sun into my heart,
let me sense your healing love,
like sun rising gently above
sleepy land on a misty morn
to give me a fresh new start.

Lord, send the new fire
of your love into my being,
take away the chill,
give new beginning, new purpose,
new thrill, fresh life, fresh hope.

Let me believe still
You can give me the power of Your healing love.

Amen

God of mercy,
You inspired Saint Clare with the love of poverty.
By the help of her prayers
may we follow Christ in poverty of spirit
and come to the joyful vision of Your glory
in the Kingdom of heaven.
We ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

Heavenly St. Lawrence, model of fortitude,
Shield me against my selfishness
and my indifference to God and my neighbor.
Inspire me to imitate your Christian virtues.
May your blessing be with me always,
so that I may see and serve Christ in others
and work for His Kingdom.
Graciously obtain for me from God those favors and graces
which I need so much in the trials,
miseries and afflictions in life.

My tender Mother,
obtain for me a deep humility from God,
internal and external humility,
a deep knowledge of myself,
and a spirit of mortification
so that I humble myself before God and creatures.
Help me to have contempt and humiliations loved,
but myself despised.
Mirror of humility grant me the virtue of humility and obedience.
Grant me the virtue of meekness and sweetness
so that I treat people with kindness,
especially when I meet the ones
against whom I feel repugnance.

O God, who has enlightened Your Church
by the eminent virtues
and preaching of St. Dominic,
Your confessor,
our Father mercifully grant that by his prayers
we may be provided against all temporal necessities
and daily improve in all spiritual good.
Through Christ Our Lord.

Amen.

O glorious St. Cajetan,
you spent long hours helping the sick and worked yourself to exhaustion
in helping victims of plagues which were frequent in your time.
You cared for the sick not just to heal them,
but to guide them to a happy death.
You wanted their souls, not their bodies.
Help us to understand that we have to prepare ourselves to a happy death.
May we likewise see that the most terrible sickness is our sinfulness,
and we always have to examine ourselves for the sins we commit daily.
Inspire us to have repentant hearts
that we may always be prepared to meet the Lord.

Amen.

At the Transfiguration, Father, You showed
Jesus in glory, a glimpse of what His disciples
would see in His risen life.

Bless us in our humanity,
with an awareness of Your presence,
leading us to share in Your divine life
even in our daily struggle.

Help us to deepen
our knowledge of the Law and the Prophets,
channels of Your grace throughout history,
and signposts for our journey.

Amen.

Father, I dedicate this new day to you, as I go about my work.
I ask you to bless those with whom I come in contact.
Lord, I pray for all those who work during this pandemic.
Keep them safe and give them satisfaction and pride in what they do.

Spirit of God, comfort those who are unemployed;
they are your children and my brothers and sisters.
Keep them safe and out of harm’s way during this crisis;
and deliver to us a way to safely return to work.
