Shed Your light upon the hearts
of Your faithful people, O merciful God,
and through the glorious prayers of blessed Elizabeth,
grant that we may despise worldly welfare
and ever be gladdened by Heavenly consolation.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with Your
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
world without end.

Amen.

O Eternal Father, I offer You the
Most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus,
in union with the Masses said throughout
the world today, all the holy souls in Purgatory
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal Church,
for those in my own home
and in my own family.

Amen.

The disciples cried out in panic
when their boat was almost sinking,
aroused from Your slumber
You calmed the storm,
and all was peace again.

Lord, I cry out to You, too,
to arouse You from Your slumber.
Lest the waves overwhelm me,
as it’s all too much to bear.

One minute I can feel fine,
the next I’m struggling to put on a smile.

Lord, calm my storm within.
Let me know Your gentle peace,
like a calm river on a summer’s day.

Amen.

If God wants to place me in vulnerable situations
I accept that God is leading me - whatever happens, happens.
Jesus tells us not to be afraid though bad things
may happen to us in following him.
With God’s gracious presence in our lives,
our fears are under God’s guiding hand
and there is nothing to be afraid of.

Fortify me with the grace of Your Holy Spirit
and give Your peace to my soul
that I may be free from all needless anxiety,
solicitude and worry.
Help me to desire always
that which is pleasing and acceptable to You
so that Your will may be my will.

Lord, in times of pride I parade my success,
or fame or fortune for all the world to see.

Then in times of illness
I see how weak I really am, and how vain.
Let me rather walk humbly with You.

Let me trust in You,
rather than in my own strength,
let me step out with confidence in You,
for Your weakness is greater than all my strength.

Lord, I thank You, for I know
You will never abandon me.

Amen.

Dear Lord, Today we honor our veterans,
worthy men and women who gave their best
when they were called upon to serve
and protect their country.
We pray that You will bless them for their
unselfish service in the continual struggle
to preserve our freedoms, our safety,
and our country's heritage, for all of us.

God our Father,
you will never allow the powers of hell
to prevail against Your Church,
founded on the rock of the apostle Peter.
Let the prayers of Pope Leo the Great
keep us faithful to Your truth
and secure in Your peace.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

My Queen! my Mother!
I give you all myself, and,
to show my devotion to you,
I consecrate to you my eyes,
my ears, my mouth, my heart,
my entire self.
Wherefore, O loving Mother,
as I am your own,
keep me, defend me,
as your property and possession.

I believe that You, O Jesus,
are in the most holy Sacrament.
I love You and desire You.
Come into my heart I embrace You.
Oh, never leave me.
May the burning and most sweet power
of Your love, O Lord Jesus Christ,
I beseech You, absorb my mind
that I may die through love of Your love,
who were graciously pleased to die
through love of my love.

November 7, 2020

Come Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of Your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of Your love.
Send forth Your Spirit
and they shall be created.
And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit,
did instruct the hearts of the faithful,
grant that by the same Holy Spirit
we may be truly wise and ever enjoy
His consolations, through Christ Our Lord.

Amen.

Thank You, Lord, for Your great power
and love for all people.
Help us, to constantly praise You
and glorify Your Holy Name.
Even during times of trial, like this COVID-19 pandemic,
help us to see that we are all one world community;
that our actions affect those around us.
Remind us that the health and safety of our families
rests in everyone working together
with love and compassion for each other.
May You be our guide, O Lord,
and may we always praise and glorify You.

Amen.

Guardian Angel, watch over those
whose names you can read in my heart.
Guard over them with every care
and make their way easy and their labors fruitful.
Dry their tears if they weep;
sanctify their joys;
raise their courage if they weaken;
restore their hope if they lose heart,
their health if they be ill,
truth if they err,
repentance if they fail.

O Saintly reformer, animator of spiritual
renewal of priests and religious,
you organized true seminaries
and wrote a standard catechism.
Inspire all religious teachers
and authors of catechetical books.
Move them to love and transmit only
that which can form true followers
of the Teacher who was divine.

Amen.

Most glorious Martin de Porres,
whose burning charity embraced
not only the needy brethren,
but also the very animals of the field,
splendid example of charity,
we hail you and invoke you!
From that high throne which you occupied,
listen to the humble requests of your needy brethren
that, by imitating your virtues, we may live contented
in that state in which God has placed us
and carrying with strength and courage our cross,
we may follow in the footsteps of Our Blessed Redeemer
and His most afflicted Mother,
that at last we may reach the Kingdom of Heaven
through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
